First day in Mexico – Mellissa Strong

I thought I ordered and omlett. Turns out that is wasn’t. Couldn’t eat it because of a food allergy to raw eggs. Luckily, there was a nice boy who switched with me so I could eat. Lesson one: should have brushed up on the Spanish.

Today was a very exciting, but tiring first day. We have already learned so many things! Interestingly enough I have learned that in Mexico, most bathrooms you must grab toilet paper on your way into the stall. There is not tp in the stall. Additionally, there are not “seats,” just the bowl. This is a beautiful city and he hospitality has been nothing less than perfect.
